There are plenty of seals in the Fjällbacka archipelago so we have a good chance of seeing seals both in the water and on land. In addition to harbor seals, we will see a lot of seabirds and maybe even a porpoise.

Prices summer 2026:
The price is 500 SEK per adult and 350 SEK for children under 12 years. The tour is 3,5 hours long and includes an hour on the Väderöarna Islands. In the summer of 2026 we will depart at 14:00 every day between June 1 and August 31.
Our boat departs from the central pier in Fjällbacka, at Ingrid Bergmans torg. Departures are daily during high season! Life jackets are available to borrow on board.

Guided tour of the Bohuslän archipelago
The boat we travel on is charming and gives a real archipelago feel while it safely takes us across the water. During the tour you will be guided among seals and skerries, and during the boat trip you will learn lots of exciting facts about harbor seals and seabirds. Seabirds that we have plenty of here around Fjällbacka include the loggerhead and sand eel.
Harbour seal
Harbour seals are very fascinating animals. They are very cute to look at but they are predators that catch and eat a lot of fish. Did you know that a harbour seal can weigh up to 150 kg and that female harbour seals can live as long as 35 years?
Although they are mammals, seals are very good swimmers, they can stay underwater for up to 30 minutes and even dive as deep as 200 meters. Doesn't it sound like a wonderful experience to see these animals in person?
